Our Story

Launched In 2016, founder Lucia Dailey set out to bring a new and unique aesthetic to event dressing.

She dreamt of creating an item that felt modern, yet reminiscent of times past; a piece that felt polished yet effortless and most importantly, an item that would remain a wardrobe treasure for years to come. From these musings came Seren (short for Serendipity) and a first capsule collection of printed silk jumpsuits; four signature styles decorated in a choice of three beautifully hand painted prints. Five years on and these jumpsuits remain at the heart of our collections.

As the brand has continued to evolve, following new paths, including the addition of more laid-back resortwear pieces, bridal and our newly launched ‘modern bridesmaid’ collection; our ethos, aesthetic and commitment to creating beautiful items that will stand the test of time through quality and versatility remains the same.

The Seren woman is not led by trends but has an innate sense of style. She prefers to invest in quality items that she can use time and time again.

She is a woman of culture who likes to travel; loaded with a calendar of events, she is a modern woman with a modern lifestyle.

The Seren woman is eternally young at heart and bohemian in spirit… she does not let age define her.

Sustainability and conscious creation is paramount and we are continuously working to improve our practices and techniques.

All of our garments are ethically produced at our privately owned studio in Mumbai, India either as part of a limited-edition, small run collection or custom made; in order to reduce production waste to an absolute minimum. Where possible, any unused fabric is re-purposed and stock levels are kept low to avoid unwanted surplus inventory.

Our ready to wear and bridal collections are mainly created from natural materials and we are continuously exploring new sustainable fabrics for future use.

2021 marks our journey toward offsetting the carbon emissions for each Seren delivery, in order to help protect our planet from climate change.
